1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1/2 cup of pink or red sprinkles
1/2 cup of powdered sugar for icing
2 tablespoons of milk (for icing)
Food coloring (optional, for icing)
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
Step 2: Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
Step 3: Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Gradually combine dry and wet ingredients, stirring just until mixed. Avoid over-mixing.
Step 5: Fold in pink or red sprinkles.
Step 6: Drop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
Step 7: Cool cookies on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Step 8: Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing; add food coloring if desired.
Step 9: Once cooled, drizzle icing over cookies and add extra sprinkles if desired.
