1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your spice preference)
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly.
Dry the chickpeas as much as you can! Spread the rinsed chickpeas on a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Gently pat them dry.
In a medium bowl, toss the dried chickpeas with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 30-40 minutes, or until the chickpeas are golden brown and crispy. Shake the pan halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Once roasted, remove the chickpeas from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet. They will crisp up even more as they cool. Enjoy immediately!
