1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
½ cup coconut milk
1 tablespoon lime juice
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
Marinate the shrimp in olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare the turmeric garlic sauce by sautéing garlic in olive oil, then adding turmeric, red pepper flakes, coconut milk, and lime juice. Simmer until thickened.
Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
Pour the turmeric garlic sauce over the grilled shrimp, garnish with cilantro, and serve.
