1 cup Spinach or Kale
1/2 Green Apple
1/2 Lemon or Lime (juiced)
1/2 inch Ginger Root
1/2 cup Cucumber
1/4 cup Fresh Mint or Parsley
1 cup Water or Coconut Water
1 teaspoon Chia Seeds or Flaxseeds (Optional)
Wash and Prep: Thoroughly wash all fruits and vegetables. Roughly chop the apple, cucumber, and ginger.
Blend: Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
Blend Until Smooth: Blend for 30-60 seconds, or until completely smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add more water or coconut water.
Adjust to Taste: Taste and adjust the ingredients as needed. Add more lemon for tartness, ginger for spice, or apple for sweetness.
Serve and Enjoy: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. You can also store it in the refrigerator for later, but it’s best consumed fresh.
