1 cup Spinach
1/2 cup Kale
1/2 cup Pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
1/2 Avocado
1 inch Ginger root, peeled
1/2 inch Turmeric root, peeled (or 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder)
1 tablespoon Chia seeds
1 cup Water (or unsweetened almond milk)
A squeeze of lemon or lime juice (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients: Wash the spinach and kale thoroughly. Peel the ginger and turmeric root. Roughly chop any large pieces.
Combine in Blender: Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender.
Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high speed until completely smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water or almond milk until you reach your desired consistency.
Taste and Adjust: Taste the elixir and adjust the flavor as needed. Add more ginger or turmeric for a spicier kick, or a squeeze of lemon or lime for extra brightness.
Serve and Enjoy: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. You can also store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but it’s best fresh.
