Lemon herb grilled chicken recipe with easy turmeric marinade Juicy flavorful chicken using simple tech Perfect for healthy grilling
Total Time:45 minutes
Yield:4 servings 1x
Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, oregano, turmeric, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Make sure everything is well combined.
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the turmeric marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the preheated grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to ensure accuracy.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired, and serve immediately.
