2 cups fresh spinach, washed
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 ripe banana
1/2 inch ginger, peeled
1 cup water (or coconut water, almond milk, etc.)
1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseed meal (optional)
A squeeze of lime juice (optional)
Instructions
Wash the spinach thoroughly. Peel the banana and ginger.
Add the spinach, pineapple chunks, banana, and ginger to a blender.
Pour in the water (or your liquid of choice).
Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add more liquid. If it’s too thin, add more frozen pineapple or banana.
Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or tanginess as needed. Add a squeeze of lime juice for extra zing or a touch of honey if it’s not sweet enough for your taste.
