Total Time:40 minutes
Yield:12-15 servings 1x
Ingredients
Scale
1 cup of fresh strawberries
200 grams of dark chocolate (or milk chocolate)
1 cup of powdered sugar
1/2 cup of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of cocoa powder (optional for chocolate cookies)
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Colored sprinkles or edible glitter for decoration
Instructions
Rinse the strawberries and dry them thoroughly. Water on the strawberries can prevent the chocolate from adhering.
Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering about three-quarters of the fruit.
Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with colored sprinkles or edible glitter for extra flair.
Refrigerate until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and mix well.
Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
Chill the dough for at least an hour for easier handling.
Roll out the dough and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to create cookies. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
Let them cool and then decorate with icing, colorful sprinkles, or edible glitter.
Melt the chocolate as described above.
Dip each pretzel rod or twist partially into the melted chocolate.
Place on parchment paper and generously sprinkle with decorations like nuts or sprinkles.
Allow to cool and set before serving.
Make or purchase sponge cake, and cut it into small cubes.
Layer the sponge cake in small cups, followed by layers of chopped strawberries and whipped cream.
Repeat the layering until the cups are full, finishing with a dollop of whipped cream and a whole strawberry on top.
Chill before serving for best results.
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a tray.
Chill for about 30 minutes until firm.
After chilling, roll them in graham cracker crumbs and then refrigerate until serving.
