Ingredients

1 cup spinach (or kale)
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/4 avocado
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon almond butter
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut water)
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Optional: 1 scoop protein powder (whey, plant-based)
Instructions
Combine Ingredients: Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender.
Blend: Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender a few times.
Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk (or water) until you reach your desired consistency. If it’s too thin, add a few more ice cubes or frozen fruit.
Taste and Adjust: Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed. Add a little honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter smoothie, or a squeeze more lemon juice for added tang.
Serve Immediately: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately! For an extra touch, garnish with a sprinkle of chia seeds or a slice of pineapple.
