1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two small ramekins or oven-safe dessert cups with a bit of oil or cooking spray.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips.
Evenly distribute the batter into the prepared ramekins and bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove the ramekins from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature with desired toppings.
